The bright planet Venus (金星) and the star Regulus (軒轅星) met in the western twilight sky Monday evening.

A very bright star Jupiter and the Moon (97.9%) will be closest tonight on May 27. The planet Jupiter is close on the sky’s dome to this nearly full moon on May 29, and both Jupiter and the Moon are more or less opposite the Sun.
